The source doesn't have to be clean
Legacy sites are frequently built on things nobody wants to touch — nested tables, inline styles, a stylesheet with three generations of overrides, markup emitted by a CMS that shut down years ago.
None of that gets in the way, because the conversion works from the rendered page rather than the source. Whatever produced the HTML, what the AI reads is the page a visitor sees.
